They are used as remote controlled safety valves
at fixed LPG storage tanks, spherical tanks or LPG transportation
tanks (from 30 m3 to 5000 m3), at liquid and gas outputs or at
piping lines.
They can be either placed directly in the outlet
of the tank or outside by installing in a case.

How they operate
Oil
compressed from the oil inlet with an hydraulic operator fills
inside the piston casing, the valve points upward with the nut at
the bottom of the casing and opens the passageway of the gas. When
the oil in the casing is emptied out the valve returns into its
original position with the force of the spring inside. |
